💗 Returns & Refunds Policy

At Pink Poppies Living Creatively, your happiness means everything to us.
We’re a proudly regional, family-run boutique based in Stanthorpe, QLD, and we want every purchase — in-store or online — to bring you joy.

If something’s not quite right, we’re here to help with a simple and clear returns process.

🔄 Change of Mind Returns

We gladly accept returns for a change of mind within 7 days of delivery.

Full-Price Items
Eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit.

Items purchased using rewards or loyalty points are also considered full-price purchases.

Sale or Discounted Items
Sale, promotion, or markdown items (e.g. Boxing Day, Black Friday, end-of-season) can be returned for exchange or store credit only.

Refunds are not available for discounted or promotional purchases.

💕 Conditions for Returning Items

To ensure your return is processed smoothly:

  • Lodge your return request within 7 days of receiving your order

  • Ensure items are returned within 30 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in saleable condition, with all tags attached

  • Original postage satchels and tissue wrapping are not required for returns

  • Please ensure items are packed securely in suitable packaging to protect them during transit

  • Items that arrive damaged, worn, or without tags may not qualify for refund or credit

📦 How to Return Your Item

1️⃣ Contact Us First
Email pinkpoppies@bigpond.com.au with your order number, reason for return, and any details or photos if relevant.

2️⃣ Prepare Your Parcel
Pack your items securely and include your name, order number, and return instructions (refund, exchange, or store credit).

You’re welcome to reuse the original Australia Post satchel — just place your return label in the clear section and reseal the bag using the extra adhesive strip provided.

3️⃣ Choose Your Return Method

You may send your return via a registered, trackable service of your choice.

Or, we can provide a prepaid return label — $10 will be deducted from your refund or store credit.

Important:
If your return brings your order total below the free shipping threshold of $200, the original $10 shipping cost will also be deducted from your refund or store credit.

5️⃣ Once Received
When your return arrives safely, we aim to process it on the day it is received, or within 24 hours. Once processed, refunds are issued to your original payment method; please allow a few business days for the transaction to be completed.

💰 Refunds & Deductions

If your order originally qualified for free shipping and your return reduces the total below $200, a $10 shipping fee will be deducted.

If you request a prepaid return label, $10 will be deducted from your refund or store credit.

⚠️ Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care when packing your order, but if something arrives faulty or damaged, we’ll fix it quickly.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos and a description of the issue

Once confirmed, we’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund depending on the circumstances — and we’ll cover all return shipping costs.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty:

  • Earrings

  • Hair accessories

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked “Final Sale”

📜 Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

You are entitled to a refund, exchange, or repair if a product:

  • Is or becomes faulty through no fault of your own

  • Doesn’t match its description or photo

  • Is unfit for its stated purpose

However, refunds will not be provided if you:

  • Simply change your mind

  • Make an incorrect choice or find it cheaper elsewhere

  • Provide incorrect order or delivery information
